Build a career at a shop that invests in people.
We're hiring machinists, programmers, and quality inspectors who want to work at a shop where the equipment is modern, the schedule is predictable, and the work actually matters. No sweatshop hours, no "we'll get to that training eventually." We mean it when we say we invest in the people who work here.
A machine shop that doesn't feel like one.
Most machine shops still run on the same assumptions they did thirty years ago: long hours, poor communication, little investment in training. We started with a different premise — that skilled machinists deserve to be treated like the professionals they are.
We run two shifts, not three. We don't schedule mandatory overtime as a matter of course. We pay above market, we fund continuing education, and we don't ask people to figure out complex jobs with no support. The result is a team with an average tenure of over six years — in an industry where two years is normal.
What we offer beyond a paycheck.
Full-time employees are eligible on day one for medical, dental, and vision. Retirement and education benefits vest on the schedule listed below.
Health insurance
Medical, dental, and vision through a PPO network. Company covers 80% of premiums for employees and 60% for dependents. Coverage starts day one.
Competitive pay
Above-market wages with quarterly performance reviews. Machinist positions range $28–$42/hour depending on experience and specialty. Programmers earn more.
Predictable schedule
Two shifts. First shift 7 AM–3:30 PM, second shift 3 PM–11:30 PM. Optional overtime is offered, never mandated. No weekend rotation except during rare production pushes.
401(k) with match
Company matches 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% of employee contributions. Vested immediately. Administered through a major national provider.
Education reimbursement
We cover 100% of tuition for job-relevant courses, certifications, and degree programs up to $5,000 per year. Includes CAM programming classes and quality certifications.
Paid time off
15 days PTO in year one, rising to 25 days after five years. Plus 10 paid holidays, including the full week between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Tool allowance
Annual tool allowance of $800 for machinists, plus access to shop-owned metrology equipment. We don't expect you to buy your own micrometers to do your job.
Modern equipment
You'll work on current-generation machines — not 20-year-old equipment held together with zip ties. Our newest platform was installed in 2024, and we replace machines on a 10-year cycle.
Safety first, always
Full PPE provided. Annual safety training beyond OSHA minimums. We've had zero lost-time injuries in the last four years and we intend to keep it that way.

CNC Machinist — 5-Axis Milling
About the role
You'll run simultaneous 5-axis and 3+2 platforms for aerospace, defense, and medical customers. This is not button-pushing work. You'll read drawings, set up jobs, program in-process edits, inspect your own work, and be responsible for the parts you cut. The parts you make hold tolerances of ±0.0005" or tighter, and the customers who receive them are audited.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate 5-axis milling platforms (Haas UMC and similar)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T callouts
- Perform in-process edits and adjustments to G-code programs
- Verify dimensions using micrometers, bore gauges, and shop CMM
- Document setup notes and inspection results in the work order
- Collaborate with engineering on DFM issues discovered during machining
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including 5-axis preferred
- Comfort with Fanuc or Haas controls (or ability to learn quickly)
- Solid understanding of feeds, speeds, and tool selection
- Ability to work to tight tolerances without constant supervision
- Strong communication skills — you'll interface directly with engineering
What we offer
Above-market hourly wage, full benefits starting day one, tool allowance, and a shop where your input on manufacturing methods actually gets heard. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
CNC Programmer — CAM & Toolpaths
About the role
You'll generate toolpaths for complex 5-axis work, program from STEP and SolidWorks models, design fixtures, and support the shop floor when a program needs adjustment. This role reports to our Lead Manufacturing Engineer and works closely with our machinists.
What you'll do
- Generate CAM programs for 5-axis milling and live-tool turning platforms
- Design fixturing and soft jaws for new parts and repeat orders
- Verify toolpaths through simulation before releasing to the shop floor
- Provide real-time programming support for in-process issues
- Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish
- Document program revisions and update setup notes
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience, with 5-axis preferred
- Proficiency with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent CAM software
- Solid understanding of GD&T and how it translates to fixturing
- Experience programming for difficult materials (titanium, Inconel, 17-4)
- Enthusiasm for teaching machinists why a program is structured the way it is
What we offer
Competitive salary, full benefits, and the opportunity to work on parts that our customers actually can't get elsewhere. If you like solving problems that other shops walked away from, this is your job.
Quality Inspector — CMM & FAI
About the role
You'll run our Zeiss CMM, perform first article inspections per AS9102, generate dimensional reports, and sign off on shipments. This is a detail-critical role that requires both technical competence and the discipline to document everything correctly.
What you'll do
- Program and operate the Zeiss Contura CMM using Calypso
- Perform first article inspections per AS9102 and generate FAI reports
- Verify material certifications against incoming material and drawing requirements
- Perform final inspection before shipment and sign off on the CoC
- Support customer audits and internal quality system reviews
- Track non-conformances and drive corrective actions with engineering
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- CMM programming experience (Calypso or PC-DMIS)
- Thorough understanding of GD&T and how to verify each callout
- Familiarity with AS9102 FAI format and aerospace documentation
- Detail-oriented personality — this is a job where missing a small thing matters
What we offer
Full benefits from day one, continuing education support for quality certifications (ASQ, CQT, CQA), and the chance to work in a quality environment that is actually respected by the rest of the team — not treated as an obstacle.
Apprentice Machinist — First Year
About the role
Our apprenticeship is a three-year program that combines paid on-the-job training with coursework at Front Range Community College. You'll start on manual mills and lathes, work your way onto our CNC platforms, and finish with the skills to run production parts unsupervised. This is a real apprenticeship, not a "junior operator" position.
What you'll do
- Year 1: Manual mill and lathe fundamentals, metrology, blueprint reading
- Year 2: CNC operation, setup, and basic programming with mentorship
- Year 3: Independent programming and running of production parts
- Attend Front Range Community College one day per week (paid)
- Work alongside senior machinists on live production jobs
What we're looking for
- No prior manufacturing experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude — you should be able to take something apart and put it back together
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and admit when you don't know something
- Reliability and a track record of showing up on time
- High school diploma or GED
What we offer
Paid apprenticeship starting at $22–$26 per hour, tuition fully covered by the company, and a clear path to a $32+ per hour machinist role within three years. Our last three apprentices are all still with the company.
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
About the role
You'll be responsible for receiving incoming material, verifying it against purchase orders, preparing finished parts for shipment, and coordinating with carriers. This role is critical — if a part shows up on time but with the wrong paperwork, the customer has a problem, and we do too.
What you'll do
- Receive incoming material and verify it against POs and packing slips
- Match mill certifications to incoming stock and file them properly
- Prepare outgoing shipments with correct packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Coordinate with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers for daily pickups
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system
- Support quality during audits by producing shipping and receiving documentation
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience in manufacturing
- Comfort with ERP systems and basic spreadsheets
- Forklift certification (or willingness to get certified on the job — we pay for it)
- Attention to detail — you're the last checkpoint before a part goes to a customer
- Reliability and a good attitude — this job requires being on time every day
What we offer
Full benefits from day one, predictable hours, and a role that is genuinely appreciated by the machinists and engineers you'll be supporting. We know shipping isn't glamorous, but it's the last thing a customer sees, and we treat it that way.
Three years, no debt, real skills.
The machinist shortage in America is a self-inflicted wound. Shops complain they can't find skilled workers, then refuse to train them. We do the opposite: we run a formal three-year apprenticeship in partnership with Front Range Community College, and we pay for every hour of it — including classroom time.
Apprentices start on manual machines, learn metrology from the ground up, and progress to running production parts independently by year three. Our last three apprentices all completed the program and are still employed with us.
Fundamentals
Manual mill and lathe, metrology, blueprint reading, shop math. You'll make real parts — not just practice cuts on scrap.
CNC operation & setup
Transition to CNC platforms under senior machinist mentorship. Setup, tool offsets, first-article inspection, and basic G-code edits.
Independent programming
Program and run production parts with minimal supervision. By the end of year three, you're a full machinist making $32+/hr.
What to expect after you apply.
No black holes, no ghosting. Every applicant hears back within one week, even if we can't move forward.
Application review
We read every application personally within 3 business days.
Phone screen
A 20-minute call with our production manager to talk about experience and expectations.
Shop visit
Tour the facility, meet the team, and see the equipment you'd be running. Bring questions.
Practical assessment
For machinist roles: a short hands-on or written assessment. No trick questions.
Offer & onboarding
Offer within 48 hours of final interview. Start date typically 2 weeks out.
What people say about working here.
"I came here from a shop that ran three shifts and treated machinists like operators. The difference is night and day. Here I actually get to solve problems instead of just pushing buttons."
"The apprenticeship program changed my life. I was working retail before this. Three years later I'm running production parts on my own and making more than I ever thought I would without a degree."
"I've worked in quality at four different shops. This is the only one where management actually backs the quality team when we push back on a part that doesn't meet spec. That matters."
